Activities & Projects

Because AAC is a small, young organization with very limited funds, we have to think strategically about our priorities, and make sure that our projects and activities reflect our priorities. Our core activities involve participation in selected aspects of the Arctic Council. We have found that the council conducts excellent technical work and we can use it to make policy and programme recommendations to national governments and international agencies that reflect the needs and goals of Athabaskan peoples. Below are activities and projects in which AAC is currently engaged. We will regularly update this section of the web site. if you have suggestions about AAC's potential priorities, please let us know.
